Gastritis : Avoid spicy foods, chocolate, mint, carbonated drinks, coffee. Stop smoking. Lose weight if you are overweight with a large abdomen. Don't eat for at least 3 hours before bedtime. Cabbage helps heal the stomach. You may need to avoid vitamins or/and dairy depending on the medications you are taking.
