A member asked:

I have erythema in lower 3rd of esophagus, z-line 40cm from incisors, large food amount(residue)in stomach, erythematous mucosa in the antrum biopsied?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Endoscopy report: Erythema is of little significance without a biopsy of the area to correlate, large food residue could mean you have gastroparesis, or slow stomach emptying that might benefit from medication (or small frequent meals), and I'm glad that the antrum was biopsied. That's a place where you are likely to find H pylori if they are present.
