ADHD: All forms of methyphenidates (and other stimulants) work paradoxically for someone who has an attention deficit. It helps to calm and focus a busy mind. The analogy would be to change from taking snapshots of events during the day to taking a video.....A lot more information is made available. You become more organized and less distracted. Work with someone to develop positive coping skills.

Concerta: Glad your medicine is working for you. All methylphenidate group of medicines would probably do the same (ritalin, metadate, focalin, (dexmethylphenidate) etc.). Salam!.
