It depends...: 18mg is the lowest strength Concerta made. It also comes in 27mg, 36mg & 54mg tabs. 72mg is also recognized as a "normal" dose. But no one dose fits all. It depends what is the right dose for you. Psychoactive meds should generally be titrated until dose is effective without problematic side effects. So, get direction from an expert md, and get a dose that works for you.

Same as 36 mg capsul: You wold get the effect of taking a 36 mg capsule. Speak to your doctor about the reason you want to try a hiigher dose. Doctor if tolerated, doctor can prescribe one 36 mg capsule.
