Bio

I am a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist who has worked in Sarasota/Bradenton, FL, for over 30 years in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I believe in an integrative approach, evaluating the whole person, not just their acute symptoms. I use medications, when indicated, in the lowest effective doses and also address healthy life-style habits. My collaborate with therapists and alternative practitioners has the goal of helping patients to return to their highest level of functioning, and whenever possible, medication free. I was born in Budapest, Hungary and came to the U.S. as a child. My international exposure includes medical school in Nice, France after a 2 year Peace Corps service as a high school chemistry teacher in Malaysia. My travels around the world have give
