The fine grind makes absorption quick, and spikes your blood sugar which increases Insulin and promotes weight gain. Good fats such as olive oil and coconut oil are fine in sensible amounts. Bread is fine.: Bread is fine, but it really should be whole grain, not white or even whole wheat. Whole grain bread has a good fiber content, allowing you fill up with fewer calories and stave off hunger longer. What you put in your sandwich is also important - lean proteins, raw vegetables.
