You need variety...: Fresh fruits and veggies are good in general because they provide some good vitamins/nutrition, but as human we cannot digest cellulose--the main component in veggies/fruits, which the cows/horse can. They can turn grass/hays into proteins/meats, we cannot. A variety of food types is recommended--see the pyramid for example. Consult your doc/nutritionist. Live well, melani6. Good luck.
