Separate problem: The glue is used to help seal the surgical sites. The suction drain is to collect any post surgical fluids and prevent accumulation. The drains usually are removed in a few days. Okay to ask your surgeon.

Not needed: There is no need to use fibrin glue in this operation. I have done thousands of cases with no drains and no fibrin glue. Expense and no benefit.

Depends: Fibrin glue is used by some for the wound closure. Under flap suction by a drain is to collect wound drainage from large cavities left behind (goiters) or for patients with a lot of surgical oozing. 2 different issues.
