Yes: Yes it can be treated. It depends on the severity of the curve, appearance and symptoms. Milder cases are treated with exercise, therapy, medication. Worse cases can be treated with surgery.

Yes: If your curve is beyond 50 degrees it may progress one degree per year. Surgery can correct and halt the progression of the curvature. If it is below 40 degrees you probably will not require surgery and either way you should be assessed by an orthopaedic spine specialist.

Not healed: Scoliosis can not be healed. Spinal fusion with metal hardware placement prevents progression and many times does correct some portion of curvature.
