A member asked:

How long do i need to expose my body to the sun (per day) to get vitamin d and sun benefits? is it fine at any time of the day?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Latitude and time: During summer, you need about 20 min at mid day, longer at other times of day. In winter, or extreme northern latitudes, it takes longer. This is why there is usually a seasonal winter drop in blood vit d levels.
