When is abdominal pain an emergency? i can't sleep, been dizzy, barely eat. had surgery for endometriosis a few years back.

Pain: Is alway a sign that something is wrong. If dizzy, weak, unbearable pain, fever, then you should go to the er . If you have vomiting and diarrhea then it is probably the stomach flu and unles you are so dizzy you are about to pass out you can probably rehydrate at home. It you are worried seek help.

Belly aches bad: Any abdominal pain that is continuous and lasts for four hours is referred to as a surgical abdomen and needs an er evaluation. Otherwise any sharp sudden intolerable and continuing pain should be evaluated in the er. Even more so if you are running a fever greater than 100.5 degrees good luck to you. Hope you are well soon.
