Hello. : Hello. Don't know the cause of her abdominal pain. Endometriosis can occur outside of the uterus, so there could be endometrial tissue that was not removed. She could have scar tissue from her surgery. She could have ovarian pain. If she has gastrointestinal symptoms, it could be from her descending colon. She would have to be evaluated to determine more abou the etiology.

Scar Tissue: Did she have open surgery or laparoscopic? Either way a common cause of pain after surgery on the abdomen is scar tissue formation (adhesions). The scar tissue builds up as your body heals from previous surgery. Some people form more than others. It can cause pain by pulling or tugging on your internal organs, like the intestines. There is no easy way to treat it, unfortunately.
