What is the procedure for pulling teeth (dentist), and will it hurt during the rest of the week?

Pulling teeth: You see the dentist. The dentist numbs you up with local anesthesia (plus IV sedation sometimes). The dentist removes your teeth. Then you get instructions and a prescription for pain medication if necessary. You leave the office and go home to recuperate. You normally will have some discomfort or pain for a period of time depending upon the difficulty of the extractions and your pain threshold.

Probably No: The tooth and area around the tooth will be numbed so you will not feel any pain during the procedure. During the following week you may have some soreness.
