Possibly: Not likely the surgery itself but length of recovery, medications needed, psycho-social factors associated with major surgery may affect this. At age 45, ability to have children later in life also depends on general medical and gender related factors.

No: It will however make the job of getting an epidural for labor more challenging. Make sure your anesthesiologist knows this as you go forward.
