Depends: You are young with active years ahead of you. Your curve is significant, but timing for surgical intervention with require consideration of an experienced spinal surgeon in reconstruction, a physiatrist and physical therapist for a complete picture. Sometimes pain is not your guide. Future function and career plans count too.
