Ringworm: "ringworm" is a term used for a skin fungal infection that is in the shape of a ring or partial ring formation. If the rash is fungal , then the best treatment is the use of a true anti-fungal cream. There are at least two otc creams that could help : lotrimin or lamisil (terbinafine).
