I have developed something like ringworm underneath both my feet and also on my left leg just below the knee. i've tried using various topical ointments but it's still the and now that i've stopped it just hardens and is itchy all the time.

Some thoughts: The proper medications for a problem seldom work if the diagnosis is not accurate. Many differing skin problems can have a similar appearance. I would show it to your doc the next time you go in for another issue.
