Some 2 B expected: Some pain can linger awhile after cts surg but u should be having less & less as each week passes. This sounds like a sensory palmar nerve irritation. I would c u r surgeon. Especially if this is not improving. Even if u r discharged from care, make an appointment with him/her to get an answer.

Maybe, maybe not: Post operative pain after carpal tunnel surgery is common. However, you describe something that may be more than the usual pilar pain associated with scar. Injury to the nerve is a complication of carpal tunnel surgery (higher with endoscopic, although still a safe surgery) which can result in symptoms with shooting electrical pain. See your surgeon for a post-op evaluation.

Yes: It takes 6-8 weeks to heal. If the symptoms persist, occupational therapy may help. Obviously, i would advise that you follow up with your surgeon for further evaluation.
