I am male 49yr bmi 27 height 173cm. i lost weight from 84 to 80kg in one yr. my triglyceride went up from 250 to 375. i am on 5gm rosuvas. pls advise?

Need different med: Triglycerides are not significantly lowered with statin medications like rosuvastatin. Fish oil 2 gm twice daily and Niacin are better for lowering the triglycerides in addition to dietary changes and exercise. Stay away from saturated fats like butter, eat more olive oil/canola oil. Stay away from fried food and consider getting tested for diabetes and hypothyroidism which can raise levels also.
