Many Considerations: High triglyceride (tg), low hdl-c and slightly high ldl-c is a common problem. Possible causes include; genetic issues (familial combined hyperlipidemia, familial hypertriglyceridemia, familial dysbetalipoproteinemia); non-genetic causes (insulin resistance, type ii diabetes, thyroid abnormalities, chronic kidney disease, alcohol).
