Not a good idea: One pound = 3000 calories, average daily calorie intake at 17= 2000+/-.Even on an unhealthy crash diet of 400 cal/day you would not be able to loose 5 lb a week. It would be better to meet with a dietitian.Plan a diet that would help you lose weight in a healthy way, up to one pound a week, and learn skills that would help you keep it off.
