Depends: Cardio exercise should be used for fitness of your heart. This can be accomplished in 30 minutes of vigorous activity a day. To be lean, you will benefit from stretching, strengthening and conditioning/training above your caloric intake. If your total fitness routine is greater than one hour, you may need specialized diet and supplements to avoid muscle damage/overuse.
