I had a tia nine months ago, quit smoking, hypertension controlled well, will i definitely have another stroke? every tingle scares me.

Maybe: It's very important that you have a comprehensive evaluation including vascular imaging , heart monitoring and laboratory assessment. While your risk has decreased with the lifestyle modifications, structural lesions need to be ruled out.

Workup, antiplatelet: Congrats on working on the risk factors. Did you get ultrasound or mra to check for neck artery blockages? Any irregular heart beat? Did you complete workup for "stroke in the young" (checking for abnormal blood clotting etc)? What is your cholesterol etc? Depending on the workup results, blood thinners such as Aspirin or plaxix (or even coumadin) may help prevent another event.
