Need evaluation: You are describing symptoms that are not typical of chiari malformations, before or after surgery. You have adrenal insufficiency, which can cause fatigue, nausea, GI symptoms. Check with your doctor to see if your symptoms are more consistent with adrenal insufficiency. If necessary, brain MRI can rule out abnormalities in the brain after chiari surgery.
