It depends: It depends on what kind of stress you're talking about, and how you're responding. With some kinds of stress, it's best to go directly to a psychologist or psychiatrist for help. I agree w Dr. Pappas: If you have a particular stressor then you need to deal w it. To address stress: talk about feelings ; address problems. Don't avoid them. Aim for 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep/ night. Daily physical activity is optimal in a green space. Eat healthfully. Cut out junk carbs, caffeine ; alcohol (or moderate). Try qi gong, tai chi, acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, meditation, yoga or exercise program.
