No: 114 ounces is over 3 liters. The human body is different from a day to another. You should keep your body water steady. For instance if you lose more (diarrhea, sweating, vomiting) you need to replace the losses. If not, 2 liters a day (6 cups) is adequate. Food moisture counts meaning 5-6 cups is adequate since fruit, stew, soup etc have plenty of water. Note, this applies to healthy persons.

Numbers are silly: You need to drink enough to pee every 6-8 hours, not hold to some artificial number. The food you eat otherwise often has a free water content that must be factored into such numbers.Applesauce or similar products are 95% free water while most vegetables are 60%. By the time you sit down with a calculator to decide if you meet the "goal" you have wasted your day.
