Should i be drinking half my body weight in water in order to lose weight? i weigh 262 and 5'7 now @ 55? i have to get this weight off, so confusing!

Listen to your body: It is generally better to eat your water by eating 6 servings of fresh raw or lightly steamed vegetables each day and 1 apple spread over 6 equal meals. Avoid all processed food that comes in packages since it is always dehydrated. Lower stress ( see kelly mcgonigal the will power instinct). Exercise is the best medicine. Pretend jump rope for a few minutes every 30 minutes for 60 minutes a day.

Drinking: Water is dangerous a very high volumes; i see no need to drink more than 1.5-2 liters of fluid per day unless you are in high heat and are losing water via sweating to a large extent.
