It depends: It depends on how you respond to medications. Sometimes it may convert to normal sinus rhythm without any meds. In general, if you have underlying heart problem along with a. Fib it may take longer. And refractory a fib may take even longer if it requires radio frequency ablation. Generally average 1-3 days stay in hospital.
