The : The doctor that prescribed hormone pills may have done blood tests to confirm wether or not you are in menopause. However it sounds like you may have been given Provera (medroxyprogesterone) to stabilize your uterus(stop the bleeding). At this age you are likely not fertile, however you need blood tests to confirm. Also you should discuss having an endometrial biopsy done due to the large amount of blood loss. Uterine malignancy must be ruled out. All the best.
