There are: Several. Fasting glucose, post-meal glucose, hba1c, GTT == check w/ diabetes.Org for more info and with your doctor for their recommendation. By the say, there are tests to diagnose diabetes, but no test will definitively rule out diabetes. They'll just tell you if there's evidence you have it at that moment. Things could change, however in as little as hours or days.
