A member asked:

Are two blood glucose tests enough to rule out diabetes and hypoglycemia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Diabetes, yes: Hi. A fasting serum glucose and a serum glucose 2-hours after a standard 75 gram glucose challenge are adequate to rule out, rule in, or define the gray zone in between, diabetes. Real pathological hypoglycemia is vanishingly rare in people not taking insulin. Don't even be thinking pathological hypoglycemia. Good luck!
