Blood: 1st step is simply check the random blood sugar. Your random blood sugar requires a blood sample. Your random blood sugar should be between 70 and 120. If the blood sugar is higher than 120 (dependent upon how much higher), the next step would be a blood a1c test or a glucose tolerance test.
