Treatable: Most hearing loss is treatable in one way or another. First you need to know what is the cause and if there is a chance it can improve on its own. Is it allergies or infection or something with the cochlea or hearing nerve? You need to see an ENT to discuss the options for treatment. From medicine to hearing aids to certain surgeries even to cochlear implantation, treatment is available.
