If someone has done something to experience possible hearing loss (ex.: someone screaming) how long does it take before the hearing loss will kick in?

May not : Some one screaming once in a while should not cause hearing loss. Most often progressive hearing loss occurs due to constant noise at the same frequency and high decibel levels. Occupations that are prone airport personnel on the field, jackhammers, rock concerts- sounds ranging above 90 db. It is hard to predict who are prone and how long it may take.
