Eat less protein: Uric acid is derived from purines found in animal proteins so you'll need to consider decreasing your protein consumption. Check out http://www.Mayoclinic.Com/health/gout-diet/my01137 for more details. Or talk to your family doc about medication options if you want to continue eating that much protein. Meanwhile, stay hydrated to minimize uric acid crystallizing as gout.

See details: The first thing you need to do is to determine if there is an underlying cause for the elevated uric acid. In spite of doctor's touting a low protein diet, studies have shown that diet has little effect. Have a rheumatologist evaluate the issue.

Good for you: Uric acid levels are largely hereditary. If you like you high-protein diet, I wouldn't change it just to treat a lab value that's doing you no harm. If you do come down with gout, it will be managed with medication and you won't need to give up working out.
