Urination on HCTZ (hydrochlorothiazide): Your urination may be due to your water intake. You are a female who is hypertensive and are 27 years old which is quite unusual. Hctz (hydrochlorothiazide) increases your urine output, how much water do you drink? If you do not have diabetes or a urinary tract infection, you should not have that urine output due to hctz (hydrochlorothiazide). Try drinking less water and ask your physician why she thinks you are hypertensive at 27.
