Hmmmm: Could a relationship with a therapist who has experience with improving self-esteem and self-confidence help? Also, stories from the beginning of time tell of heros or heroines dealing with just your problem - and they always have happy, endings. Did you hear the "ugly duckling" fairytale or see the movie? There was a great twilight zone episode too & novels galore! ugly's not the same to everyone.

What defines you?: Looks and personality don't define you. The things you do that give your life meaning and inspire you are what defines you. If you love helping people, volunteer in a nursing home, study medicine. Find out what fills you with joy, and throw all your effort behind it. People who share your passions will relate to you. If you are feeling anxious or depressed, a professional can help you on this path.
