nose piercing: You could but why mutilate your body?. In my opinion a nose piercing will significantly decrease your employment chances over your entire lifetime. That is, if you have equal qualifications to another candidate that does not have a nose piercing, they would be more likely to be chosen for a job in our society.

Increased risk : Clearly you are at higher risk for developing keloids. Your nose is probably less likely to develop this but only areas of specialized dermis are less prone to keloids.
