Listen to your body: If one gets heart burn while taking Ibuprofen it is possible that one is getting gastric irritation, especially if the pain is greatest when not eating. Acid reflux can be present with a hiatal hernia in which case doing movements to reduce a hiatal hernia would help. Heartburn from acid reflux not involving a hiatal hernia is often triggered by overeating or eating spicy food, or coffee.
