Time to see gastroenterologist as usually an upper endoscopy is needed in follow up for refractory GERD cases. Weight loss is critical (if applicable) for long lasting results.

Agree with Dr. P. If you are overweight, losing weight ( not easy) is imperative. Joining a support group like Weight Watchers may help. Wish you good health!
