Lithiasis: Lithiasis means stone and it can occur in any part of the urinary tract, like the kidney. Most stones are calcium, long term steroids cause calcium loss from bones which can lead to urinary lithiasis. Causes: dehydration, gout, renal tubular acidosis, most causes are related to concentration of calcium in the urine and increased acidity of urine.
