There: Are times when the inflammation quiets down, at that point your ophthalmologist could recommend tapering down drops. Sometimes systemic treatments can help you to wean also.

I am 26 year old. I undergone steroid induced cataract surgery & uveitis on both eyes but under control.Now blurred vision what may be problem now ?
My right eye got Uveitis about a month ago. Got cortisone eye drops from the specialist and most of the symptoms are gone. The only problem I still have is that the pupil stays dilated. Will this resolve itself or should I go back to the optometrist?
Chronic idiopathic/autoimmune uveitis can cause permanent blindness. But does acute uveitis/iritis from injury also cause irreversible blindness? Can traumatic uveitis recover on its own in majority cases if steroid or nsaid drops are not used?
