Inflammation: It is unknown what is the cause.. Usually bacteria caught in that area will inflame the tissue. It would be best to see a dentist in la who can examine you and advise what, if anything, should be done to correct the problem.

Disease: Healthy gums do not bleed. Bleeding means inflammation, gingivitis or periodontal disease. Have you been to a dentist lately? Have you had your teeth cleaned recently? How often do you floss?
The answers to these questions will give the reason why your gums bleed.
Go to the dentist and have an examination and your teeth cleaned.
