A member asked:

Is azithromycin good for asthma ? does it cure it like it claims. taking for 3 days then 1 perday for 12 weeks is suppose to be the best way. is this

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Azithromycin: Macrolides have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that may be useful in the treatment of chronic asthma, but definitive studies are not yet available. Those that have been done show conflicting or statistically unconvincing results. It certainly will not cure asthma. See a pulmonary doctor. Best wishes.
