Azithromycin: Macrolides have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that may be useful in the treatment of chronic asthma, but definitive studies are not yet available. Those that have been done show conflicting or statistically unconvincing results. It certainly will not cure asthma. See a pulmonary doctor. Best wishes.
