Took azithromycin (1g in one go) against chlamydia 5 days ago. discharge has been reduced and almost colorless, sting persists while urinating. am i being cured or need more/different antibiotics?

Chlamydia: One gram of Azithromycin is usually all that is needed for chlamydia. However where there is one std, there can be others like gonorrhea. If you were specifically tested and only chlamydia was present, that is probably all that you need to do. The irritation can last up to a week to 10 days as you are healing for the infection. As long as you are doing a little better every day, you can wait.

UTI: You are cured of the chlamydia, but you may have gotten a yeast infection by being on antibiotics or you have a concurrent bladder infection.
