A member asked:

What is the best post workout food that isn't in the form of a powder?

Lean protein : This might be a great time to develop a taste for lean protein. A post-workout snack with about 20 gm or protein, in whatever form, is plenty. Whatever's handy, lean is best (not much grease), and perhaps you can chase it down with a newly-acquired enhanced appreciation for fresh fruit. Cheers.

Whole milk: If you don't have a dairy allergy then milk has a good mix of protein, sugar, and fats. Organic is a better choice, and if you can get raw milk in your area you should try that.
