Most likely!: These common skin fungal infections can take a while to completely remove from the skin, so continue as your family doc or dermatologist have recommended. "ringworm" is one lay term for tinea capitis (cradle cap), tinea corporis (ringworm), tinea cruris (jock itch), tinea pedis (athlete's foot), etc., all the same skin fungus in different areas. Keep clean, dry, and use your meds as prescribed!
