Yes: Afrin (oxymetazoline) in the nose won't go to your ear so that is definitely safe. Even if you got a little afrin (oxymetazoline) in your ear it should still be okay as it is used sometimes in ear surgeries if there is bleeding in the ear. Remember not to use afrin (oxymetazoline) more that a few days as it has the potential to be "addicting".
