No : That tiny amount of exposure would not do anything.

Not Likely: First if you are more than six feet away the amount of xrays is really minimal. The same as being behind a lead shield. Second even without distance or shielding dental xray radiation is no more than an extra day of sunshine. Just don't do it everyday.

6 feet is safe: With the high speed films or digital sensors plus the very columnated, targeted x-ray beams used today in the dental office, 6 feet is a safe distance.

Unless you were very: Close to your husband and the x-ray machine i doubt there is a serious need for any concern. Dental x-rays are very collumated and scatter radiation at a distance of 10 feet or so is usually minimal. I understand your concern, but at 5 weeks lets be positive that you had minimal, if any, x-ray exposure to harm your baby. Hope this helps.

No: X ray equipment has a tube head designed to eliminate a lot of scattering radiation. Digital xray produces substantial less radiation (approx. 10 times less) during exposure. It is much better for the baby if the mom not worry so much. Smile :).

Avoid radiation: Avoid radiation when pregnant. But since you were exposed already, don't worry about it too much. Don't take any x-rays. Avoid flying on an airplane.

Not a concern: There is essentially no uterine radiation dose from a single dental x-ray performed on another person. To learn more about radiation exposure please visit: http://www.Conciergeradiologist.Com/radiation-exposure.Html.

No worries: Modern dental x-ray machines control the exposure quite well. There is very little "scatter radiation" that could affect you. As long as you were not in direct contact with the business end of the machine you will be fine.

Don't worry : The amount of x-ray radiation from a dental x-ray is very small and the beam is very narrow and directed. You should not have received enough radiation this one time, by just being in the room, for this to be a problem. While it would take any exposures to a dental x-ray for you to have a problem, dosage is cumulative so i would not make a habit of this.

Don't worry: Congrats! hope you have an easy pregnancy. You and the baby should be ok.. Dental x-rays are small, very low dosage, and collimated to reduce scatter. Additionally, the film packets have a lead lining to prevent x-rays from passing beyond the film. You probably would have higher x-ray dosage spending a day in the mountains. Enjoy your baby.

I : Wouldn't worry. Radiation from dental x-rays is very low. If you were a significant distance away you probably received a very low dose if any of radiation.
