Doubt? Trust?: Either the periodontist does know all the general dentists on the list and feels that they are all equally competent or...He\she does not want to be put in the awkward position of picking a favorite.

Check reviews: On those doctors. Sites like demandforce, yelp, healthgrades, ratemds, google, yahoo, dr. Oogle, wellness, vitals.Com, etc. Additionally, ask friends or co-workers. Visit their websites, view their office, check their credentials and view their portfolio (before and afters). Take your time selecting every one of your health care providers.
